Is it possible to get the value of currency in initial_purchase web hook. Initial_purchase webhook return currency: null when trial is provided to the user. I need a currency value to create subscriptions in my system.store: Amazon

Hey,  I am trying to publish a new app to Apple App Store.  I get the following rejection message; “in-app purchase functionality is not present in your binary….Alternatively, if you do not want to include in-app purchase products in your app, it would be appropriate to remove any unused in-app purchase products from App Store Connect.” Any suggestions on what should I do to fix this? Regards Shubham Jain 

Hello!I have used block transfers as a restore behavior in revenue cat in accordance to my application’s business logic which is:If User A subscribes to product and his subscription in underlying store is active then the User B shouldn't be able to make the purchase, but if the subscription of User A in underlying store is expired then the User B should be able to make the purchase.Currently I am facing issue of There is already another active subscriber using the same receipt.while trying to purchase from User B even if the subscription purchased by User A is expired. For the desired behavior when the subscription of User A is expired then the purchase should be transferred to the User B but if the subscription of User A is active then the purchase

Hi guys, I just added/configured RevenueCat in one of my apps and when I try to test in the simulator with the StoreKit Configuration File I’m getting some weird errors… Basically I was able to purchase the auto renewable subscription I’ve set up but now each time when I start the app, the SDK sends a request to the /v1/subscribers/{UUID} and when it tries to decode the response it throws an error with No value associated with key CodingKeys(stringValue: \"attributesErrorResponse\", intValue: nil) (\"attributesErrorResponse\"), converted to attributes_error_response. As far as I can tell from the debug console messages everything else seems to be fine, no errors happening… I’m using the latest version, 4.2.1 via SPM.Any ideas what I’m missing?Thank you!-------Later Edit. Hi,We are using Alias (legacy) restore behavior and I wonder if switching to Transfer purchases would be safe to do?We already have paying users. We do not have any login mechanism in the app itself and we fully rely on RevenueCat. My motivation to switch from Alias (Legacy) to Transfer Purchases is to enable premium users to get premium features connected with the Premium subscription on multiple devices they use with their Apple ID/Google ID.So the desired result is that a user who downloads our app on a mobile phone and pays for Premium Subscription can download our app also on iPad or other phone and will get premium features of our app on those devices too.Could you please advise if this is doable with switching to Transfer Purchases and if it is safe to switch restore behavior on a running app?Thank you.Lukas

A long time ago we implemented in app purchases in our application through RevenueCat and it was working fine until we got this two issues from users.1)First -errorCode: PurchasesErrorCode.storeProblemError,details: {code: 2, message: There was a problem with the App Store., readable_error_code: STORE_PROBLEM, userCancelled: false, underlyingErrorMessage: An unknown error occurred, readableErrorCode: STORE_PROBLEM},It appears in logs when users are trying to press "subscription buy button".We didn’t touch any implementation of this and configuration in App Store Connect or RevenueCat so it’s just happening for some reasons of App Store?Also, maybe this information will be helpful - previous build was rejected in first attempt because of ‘cannot locate iAP’ after build was approved but in this build appeared this issue. 2)Second - errorCode: PurchasesErrorCode.ineligibleError,de

I just started trying out RevenueCat today and I want some clarification about not being able to use an SDK for the web, hence not able to get `getPurchaseInfo` of a user to check what subscription the user is on. What would be the best way to do this?I have a cross platform app built with capacitor for android, ios and also for web.I am working on adding app purchases and stripe for web.I realized that I cannot use the Ionic Capacitor sdk on the web. The error message says `cordova_not_available`, which makes sense. So would this “plan checking”, have to be done on my backend side, where my backend does an API request to RevenueCat backend and my backend sends this information to the web client? Then, why not do it this way on the mobile app?

This is the behavior I’m seeing (tested on iOS) when setting the Restore behavior to Block Restores.App store userA logs into our app as user1 user1 purhcases a monthly subscription user1 eventually cancels monthly subscription and it expires user2 logs in on the same device (i.e. still app store userA) user2 purchases monthly subscription, gets the ‘receiptAlreadyInUse’ error, HOWEVER, the purchase still went through successfully and user1’s purchase was restored.This feels like a bug that the purchase made it through even though the SDK returned an error.Also, the link to the documentation on restores is currently pointed to here which gives a 404.

Hi,Please help us to solve a mystery.When we build our app and upload to testflight I can see that the app send request to sandbox.itunes.apple.com and it’s very slow. According to posts in forums and communities this is known issue that is not taking care of for years from Apple side.This request is taking a lot of time (I assume that this request source is from react-native-purchases library) and slows down our loading process of the app.Sometimes the requests are even timed out or I get message like:None of the products registered in the RevenueCat dashboard could be fetched from App Store Connectand the products are not loading I don’t see such requests from the production version that is downloaded from the app store.I do see requests to itunes.apple.com How can I make sure that this situation happens only on testlight. After purchasing the app for 11.99€ in the Amazon App Store, the amount is shown as 1199€ or 1298.05$. The problem is probably the German representation of “11.99” as “11,99”, which is being parsed as 1199.

As per the title:I always get the ‘Receipt is missing error’ when testing via TestFlight.In Xcode, when configured with a StoreKit file, it works fine. Without StoreKit and TestFlight it does not work, the app review is also always getting rejected.I cannot see why it does not work. The products and offerings are configured correctly (and they are shown in the app), it’s just the receipt that is always missing when purchasing.

We recently had a user who started their 14 day free trial on March 31.We got a webhook from revenueCat for this initial purchase with an expiration date of April 14 at 06:13GMT. We use this expiration date as the trial end date / next renewal date.The user’s customer profile lists that their trial converts on April 15th and we haven’t yet received another webhook for this user (which makes sense because it is not the 15th yet).Why is there a discrepency between the expiration date in the webhook and the trial conversion date?These types of errors end up with users who don’t have access to an app that they paid for and are very rightfully upset as a result.

Goal:We want to test our In-App Purchase Flow end-to-end in TestFlight using a sandbox account and see sandbox data in RevenueCat and receive the associated webhook events. Problem:Our app has not yet been approved on the apple app store. It appears I can only provide App Store Server Notifications URLs in the App Store section under App Information. I don’t see a way to add them to a TestFlight build. Question:Is there a way to accomplish my goal before being approved on the app store, or is that a prerequisite of receiving webhook events from sandbox IAP transactions? Thanks!

Hi,I am seeing a weird behavior from RevenueCat in our app where purchases are getting linked to the wrong account. I’ve been able to narrow it down to the following use case: User logs in with new account. User subscribes. User cancels their subscription. User deletes account. User’s subscription expires. User logs in with new account. User subscribes again. Im having some problems installing the revenuecat package using swift package manager. This happens when I try and clone a project from scratch and install the required packages. The error reads“Dependencies could not be resolved because no versions of “purchases-ios” match the requirement 5.5.0 and root depends on “purchases-ios” 5.5.0.”If anyone could has experienced this problem before and knows of ways to solve it that would be very helpful. Thanks! I'm moving from my paid iOS app to a subscription model. I have added a scheduled change in the duration of my introductory offer in App Store. I have change the offer duration from 2 weeks to 1 week, and scheduled the change to happen in two days. But when I test my app, product.introductoryDiscount?.subscriptionPeriod returns 1 week which is the upcoming change and not 2 weeks as expected. When I click to buy the subscription the iOS subscribe page shows 2 weeks trial period. Am I missing something here?

Hi,I’m in a situation where I have to test on a simulator, but despite setting up my StoreKit Configuration, I continue to hit a brick wall. Note, testing on a device was working fine.I’ve scoured as many relevant help articles as I could find on the community, but I’m still stuck.Specifically, I get an error message saying the product identifier I’ve created in my StoreKit Configuration is invalid, and that an SKProduct could not be found.Invalid Product Identifiers - ( "com.gravy.dev.monthly_4.99")Could not find SKProduct for ( "com.gravy.dev.monthly_4.99") I’ve tried this in a few different ways, always making sure the product existed in RevenueCat, and was apart of a “current” offering.
