How to set entitlement status to inactive

I would like to know how I can set consumable purchase to inactive state after the user has used the product. For example, in my app, I have a consumable purchase that the user can use one time and then after that, I want to set that purchased product's entitlement state to inactive so that the user would have to buy it the next time before they can use the product.Any help with this will be very useful and much appreciated.

AppStore sign-in prompting on Simulator on Xcode 13 & iOS 15

Hello, I am working on updating all my Frameworks including Purchases, specifically trying to get rid of all my PODs and moving them as Swift Packages Dependency. Also, for this I decided to start doing it on the latest version of Xcode in beta and the upcoming iOS 15. I recently noticed that while testing, two things are happening that were not happening before.  Products are being displayed on the simulator.  The Sign in With Apple ID window is appearing.While testing on the simulator for iOS 14, I was never able to download the products from Revenue Cat, therefore I was only able to test on an my device. But I noticed that it now brings the products and is able to display them on the simulator. However I have not tried to do a purchase from there as I assumed is not going to work as expected. ( This, is actually a good thing because it allows me to test on simulator how my paywall is going to look and react to changes )However, on the second point for some reason, the “Sign in with

PurchaserInfo entitlements returns empty after logOut

Hi there!I'm testing the login/logout system of the RevenueCat SDK on Flutter.I'm using the Transfer Purchase behavior from https://docs.revenuecat.com/docs/restoring-purchases.Problem: PurchaserInfo entitlements returns empty after Purchases.logOut(). Purchases.getPurchaserInfo() only returns correct after I refresh the app and call Purchases.setup().Steps to reproduce:1. Enter app, call Purchases.setup() (without appUserId). 2. Do a subscription purchase 3. Now with the user with subscription, call Purchases.login(). The user now has a provided app id and has the subscription entitlement. 4. Call Purchases.logOut(). Now the user has an anonymous id. 5. Call Purchases.getPurchaserInfo() to retrieve the user's entitlements and check if the user has subscription. Result: the user has no entitlements, even tho the user bought the subscription on that same device.But…6. Refresh the app and call Purchases.setup(). Now when Purchases.getPurchaserInfo() is called, it returns the subscription

Offerings is always null

Hi, I ma trying to integrate revenuecat to my android app. in play store console i have added all the details of the subscription and connected my revenuecat account with the play store.but in the app, ReceiveOfferingsListenerI am always getting `Offerings(current=null, all={})`Not sure if i am doing something wrong here. thanks in advance

Do I need to migrate all InApp purchases (non consumable)?

Our App has quite a lot of inApp purchases for e-book like content.The current system works and it would be easiest to just keep it as it is (for the iOS side). Our server knows about the available items and the item content. Adding all products to revenueCat would not really add value and might introduce errors. Is it possible to use revenueCat just be handing over the product ID? Or is it better to leave the purchase code as is and use the revenue Cat SDK for handling the subscriptions?

Checking for products eligibility may trigger AppStore sign-in

Hi,We’re going to add introuctory offers to some products in our iOS app. And we want to make sure we display the right choise for each user depending on their receipts. So it looks like we could achieve this by using  checkTrialOrIntroductoryPriceEligibility. However, because it could result into refreshing user’s receipt, the AppStore sign-in dialog may appear. As I see from the current logic in the SDK it happens only when the receipt is missing in the app bundle. Which shouldn’t be the case for AppStore build. Though it’s a usual case for development and sandbox builds. Particularly the dialog appears if I try to call this method when there’s no sandbox user logged into device AppStore.Thus we have a concern about prompting AppStore sign-in dialog unexpectedly in the process of Apple review causing a rejection. Mainly this post is the source of my concerns. And also this recommendation from Apple: The application can advise the user that the appStoreReceipt appears to be outdated a

Mobile purchases are automatically being tracked by RevenueCat. How can I hide some from RevenueCat?

We added RevenueCat to an existing application that already had in app purchases.We would like to hide some from RevenueCat as to avoid the MTR fee. Is there a way to do this?We are using RevenueCat for new In App subscriptions but would like to separate these from previously implemented purchases.

Is it possible to avoid anonymous users completely?

HiWe’re trying to configure a flow where user subscription is strictly bound to their account. In our mobile app we identify users by their personal accouns and provide a way to sign in / sign up and sign out directly in the app. So it’s possible to have a state when there’s no user id.We used Block restores setting (btw, thanks for this update - it’s much simpler now!) and applied the recommended way of identifying users with login/logout mehtods as described here. However with this approach when we register a new user the RevenueCat creates a subscriber with anonymous Original App User ID and then aliases the actual user id and setups App User ID field with it.While this is totally expected according to the documentation, it looks confusing in our flow where user can subscribe only with active account and thus already having actual identifier. What we’re trying to achieve is to always have users with single identifier (i.e. Original App User ID == App User ID) without aliases as we’r

Upgrade not working like intended on Android SDK

Currently using com.revenuecat.purchases:purchases:4.2.1When a user goes to upgrade a product in the same offering, I’m using UpgradeInfo to do that. new UpgradeInfo(currentProduct,1) //1 = IMMEDIATE_WITH_TIME_PRORATIONBut the user is showing that the upgrade will start at a later date . Am I doing something wrong?

purchaserInfo when no connectivity

How does the SDK work when there is no cell or wifi?  Which methods will work on device-only, and which ones need connectivity to complete?  Will there be a noticeable delay to the call?   (Is there a doc describing this?)The case is where you want to test for a valid iOS subscription/entitlement, but there is no network available.  Does it work?

I can't get a consumable product in the list of products, although information about subscriptions comes without problems - in Google playThe product is active, but it is not in the resulting list :(

When is an anonymous App ID really changed?

HiI want to implement a Free 3 day Trial period before purchasing.I would like to use “FirstSeen” from purchaserInfo. Documentation means that:“ In the event that the user deletes and reinstalls the app, a new random App User ID will be generated.”But when testing and uninstalling/reinstalling… i always got the same AppUserID and the FirstSeen doesnt change - that would be fine… but the docu says other things. How is it actually? ThanksWalter

How to reset purchases when users switch Apple accounts

I noticed that when a user bought an IAP (no-consumable) on a macOS device, and then switched to a different Apple account, the new account still had access to pro features. I tried restarting the app and clicking the restore purchases button (which called `Purchases.shared.restoreTransactions`) but they didn’t help. I think the cause is Apple doesn’t refresh receipts for apps when a new account is signed in. I’m wondering if that is expected and what is the best practices to deal with that (ex should we just ignore those cases or there is a method to refresh receipt explicitly (and if that’s the case, should we invoke that method on every launch?)).

AppStore rejection - no check for the existing receipt. Is 'syncPurchases' safe to spam?

Hello,I tried to search for a similar case - couldn’t find anything.My macOS app got rejected for the following reason, as if Revenue cat doesn’t check for the existence of a purchase receipt.We noticed that your app does not check for the existence of a purchase receipt, which can prevent in-app purchases from being correctly processed. Next StepsWe recommend implementing receipt validation to resolve this issue. At a minimum, the app will need to check for the existence of an App Store receipt and exit at launch with a status of 173 if it does not exist. See Validating Mac App Store Receipts for more information. I assume syncing purchases might solve the problem but the documentation says to use this API only for migration - https://docs.revenuecat.com/docs/migrating-existing-subscriptions. I don’t want to sync it for every install. Actually I’m not even certain it is going to check for the receipt if i call that.Best Regards,Konstantin

How do I set attributes with Cordova? It always returns invalid.

When I am setting attributes with Cordova whether generically like this:Purchases.setAttributes({“age”: “24”});Or when using something like the display name like this:Purchases.setDisplayName(“Doe”);I always end up with an error message that looks like this:To Native Cordova ->  PurchasesPlugin setAttributes INVALID ["options": [{    age = 24;}]]Or this for the display name:To Native Cordova ->  PurchasesPlugin setDisplayName INVALID ["options": [Doe]] Am I missing something? I went through and updated everything in my app to be uptodate. I am using the following versions of things:"@ionic-native/core": "^5.35.0","@ionic-native/purchases": "^5.35.0","cordova-plugin-purchases": "^2.3.0",Everything else with purchases is working just fine as far as I can tell, I just can’t seem to use it to set an attribute.

Ionic's Purchases plugin can't get any entities

So I'm using the @ionic-native/purchases plugin for setting up in-app subscriptions. Getting "The device or user is not allowed to make the purchase."

I realize this is similar to the post here, but was hoping to dig into it a bit more on why we are seeing this failure.We are seeing “The device or user is not allowed to make the purchase.” when attempting to call Purchases.getProducts() or Purchases.getOfferings() from our React Native app.  A few notes:We’re on React Native 0.63.  (I realize that the docs recommend 0.64 or newer, but it was my understanding that it should still work on this version). We’ve ensured that the emulator we are running has the Google Play Services SDK installed.  According to the AVD Manager, we’re using a fairly new Android version: Android 11.0 (Google Play Services) We are logged into an account on the emulator that is registered as a license tester on the Google Play Console. The emulator has been rebooted several times.This error happens in both our main app and a simple test app that we put together for the sake of testing.  Is there something else that we are missing in our testing process that cou

why are sandbox tests using observer mode not showing up in RC?

Configured an iOS app for observer mode to run alongside our existing iOS storekit implementation.  After two subscription tests in Sandbox, no data appears in RC.  I seem to be missing something, but have followed the docs I find regarding observer mode.  I can see through device settings>app store>sandbox that the subscription test is active and my app behaves as such, so I know the sandbox transactions exist.  Thanks.
