Problem fetching StoreKit Configuration file offerings on physical device

I’ve set up a synced StoreKit Configuration file for my app. On simulators it fetches all the offerings without a hitch, but when running on device it doesn’t. Is this a known limitation or is there something I’ve missed?

Upgraded to Xcode 13 RC, and latest RevenueCat package, and now Purchases won't work with watchOS.

I have an independent watch app on the store as part of a family of apps. The watch app is part of a single project with the iOS app. After I upgraded Xcode, my app will no longer recognize the Purchases(now RevenueCat) package. I am using a single class that manages the purchases. If I have it as part of the watch extension it throws errors. If I only target the iOS app, the errors go away. The errors all essentially amount to:'PurchaserInfo' is not a member type of class 'RevenueCat.Purchases'I am also showing an error ofWatch Extension.build/Objects-normal/arm64_32/Settings.dia:1:1: warning: Could not read serialized diagnostics file: error("Invalid diagnostics signature") (in target 'Watch Extension'…Steps I have done:Make sure that the package is linked to the extension cleared the derived data, cleaned the project and restarted.I can find no setting that seems to be a problem. Any help would be appreciated.

ios emulator build fails

I am running react-native-purchases 4.5.3 on an m1 MacBook with xCode 14. Building works fine on a physical device but fails on emulator with this error: fatal error: module map file '/Users/xxxxxx/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/xxxxxxx-aypdoepholwfczhdoyntaygzhteb/Build/Products/Debug-iphonesimulator/PurchasesCoreSwift/PurchasesCoreSwift.modulemap' not found1 error generated.Has anyone experienced that problem?

Flutter: Google Play Console Warning to use Billing Library version 4 or newer

I use the latest version of purchase_flutter (4.2.1) in my Flutter app.I get an error in the Google Play Console that I have to use Billing Library version 4 or newer. I run the command gradlew “app:dependencies” to check the used version and found this in the result:+---com.android.billingclient:billig:4.1.0 The warning has a link to this site https://developer.android.com/google/play/billing/deprecation-faq with this relevant section:Make sure your AndroidManifest.xml contains an entry with name com.google.android.play.billingclient.version. If the entry isn't present, check your manifest merge settings to see if the manifest attribute is being dropped during manifest merging. Do I have to set this entry in the AndroidManifest? As I understood, this has to be set by the package purchases_flutter. But why do I get this warning and how I can solve it?

What to put for base plan ID? (New Google Play Console Update)

I am trying to create some new subscriptions on Google Play console and have created a new product with a matching product ID on RevenueCat and in the Google Play console. After creating the new product on the Play Console, I have to add a “Base Plan” and give it a unique “Base Plan ID”. What should I put for the “Base Plan ID”? Should I put the product ID as the base plan ID as well? I know these are new changes to the Play Console, so appreciate any guidance I can get on this.

App IDs transferring subscriptions to anonymous users

We have an app that requires the users to login before making a purchase.We’re observing (in our sandbox testing) that occasionally a users subscription gets transferred from one of our users id’s to an anonymous id. Cannot see free trial offer for a Google Play subscription

What could be the reason that I cannot access my Google Play subscription’s free trial offer from the SDK by calling `aPackage.product.subscriptionOptions?.freeTrial`? It is always null.This is a new subscription product which I created after reading through your migration guide from 5.x -6.x. It was suggested there that I should create new subscription products, so I did. I used to have two products, one annual and one monthly. I created a new single subscription with 2 base plans and an annual which has the free trial offer. With the old setup and 5.x version this worked, but now I cannot see the free trial in the new base plan at all. Any help is appreciated. All base plans and the new offer are active in Play console and the products have been added to RC packages. Also this annual base plan looks to be “backwards compatible”.This happens with the latest 6.3.0 version of the purchases SDK.

Can I test on iOS Simulator

I do not have a physical iPhone to test on. Can I tes on the iOS simulator on mac? Right now it keeps saying Purchases.getOfferings() is empty but it works fine on Android. Any tips for a new guy excited to launch his app! :-)

Unwanted purchase transfer

Hello,we are trying to implement IAP in an iOS app and are running into weird behavior regarding transferred purchases.We are signed in on two different iOS devices with an apple sandbox account. On the two devices, we use different app user ids. Now, we first made a subscription purchase on one device and canceled it afterward again. Then, we made a second subscription purchase on the other device (different app user id, same apple sandbox account).Whenever the app is started, Purchases.shared.logIn is called with the app user id of that device. With that, each time in the revenue cat dashboard, the purchase of the second device is transferred to the app user id of the last device we started the app on.This does not seem to be the desired behavior here – at least not what we need. We would expect the purchase to always be associated with the app user id which was used to make the purchase. In this example, the two app user ids are not related to each other. Is it possible to avoid anonymous users completely?

HiWe’re trying to configure a flow where user subscription is strictly bound to their account. In our mobile app we identify users by their personal accouns and provide a way to sign in / sign up and sign out directly in the app. So it’s possible to have a state when there’s no user id.We used Block restores setting (btw, thanks for this update - it’s much simpler now!) and applied the recommended way of identifying users with login/logout mehtods as described here. However with this approach when we register a new user the RevenueCat creates a subscriber with anonymous Original App User ID and then aliases the actual user id and setups App User ID field with it.While this is totally expected according to the documentation, it looks confusing in our flow where user can subscribe only with active account and thus already having actual identifier. About "Restore function"

I have done various tests and I would have to ask some questions:1. Is it normal that after subscribing with a Device with an account, if I install the app on another Device that has the same account, I immediately enable the subscription without the need to restore? This way I never use restore.I have not done anything in particular so I think the default value is set which is "Transfer purchases".There is a way to better understand how it works and how you can set the various behaviors because from the doc I have not been able to understand this topic well.In my app there are two simple subscriptions (monthly and yearly) and I have no special needs (there is no login or anything else in the app) so I opted to have RevenueCat create the user's ID automatically.Thanks for your attention

Stuck on Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions blank page

Hi there, We're using `purchases_flutter: 3.9.5` in our Flutter app. When I sent a Test Flight with our IAP implementation, all users get an iOS popup saying the `Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions have changed`, which upon pressing "ok" takes the user to a blank screen. This state is so weird that revenue cat doesn't even return anything from the Purchase method. So by closing this blank screen the app just hangs on loading, waiting for Revenue Cat to return a response from the purchase method, which it never does. Closing the app completely causes the Terms to Pop back up once again, but this time it loads, and upon pressing accept the iOS "successful purchase" pop up comes up. Any following purchases work as expected, without the terms. All iOS beta users are facing this issue the first time they try to perform the purchase. Will this happen in the live app? Anyone know what to do here? Thanks

Currency in IOS seems incorrect

I’m using react native to fetch the packages and looking at the logs: const offerings = await Purchases.getOfferings(); const packages = offerings.all["default"].availablePackages; console.log("Paywall Currency", packages[0].product.currency_code)Looking at the logs, the products inside the package has the price in USD. But the phone I am running the code on is set to Australia for the region of the account. I went to Settings > Account name > Media & Purchases > Country Region > Set to AustraliaAm I doing something wrong here?

I have followed the instructions as in docs and my revenue account is connected to Google Play service. I have configured the product, entitlements and offer for my product. When I try to integrate the application, it gives an error message.- ERROR: 🤖‼️ Error fetching offerings - PurchasesError(code=ConfigurationError, underlyingErrorMessage=There's a problem with your configuration. [Flutter] Payment pending - how to cancel on iOS?

[using Flutter SDK] on iOS when I call Purchases.purchaseProduct and it throws the exception(s) PurchasesErrorCode.paymentPendingErrororPurchasesErrorCode.storeProblemErrorThe docs suggest that this is not an error and to inform the user that the purchase is pending.For some customers, they do not succeed in setting up a valid payment method at this point. I have instances where the actual purchase comes through 30+ days later (when a payment method is finally established, probably for another reason). At this point the payment is taken but the user may have uninstalled my app by then! Ideally, I would like to cancel the pending purchase in the App Store at this point and then require my users to go through the purchase flow a second time.How can I programatically cancel a pending purchase on iOS or at the very least, see this state outside of the purchaseProduct exception and report it to the user?

Can't find Issuer ID on App Store Connect for implementing iOS Offer Codes

My view on App Store ConnectI am currently trying to implement Offer Codes in my application. I read here that in order for Offer Codes to work with RevenueCat, I would need to upload an In-App Purchase Key. I followed the steps to create and download an In-App Purchase Key, but when uploading it, RevenueCat needs an Issuer ID. The documentation here states that the Issuer ID can be found by going to Users and Access->Keys->App Store Connect API. I did that and requested to access the App Store Connect API (as instructed in the RC documentation) but after doing so, I still can’t see an Issuer ID (see image attached). Where can this be found? It seems that App Store Connect has maybe changed some things. Do I have to create an App Store Connect API as well as the In-App Purchase Key? If so, will this App Store Connect API Key only be used for RevenueCat? And, if I do need to create an App Store Connect API Key, what level of access should I give it (see image) ? How to solve this "Your first subscription must be submitted with a new app version", Submit for review always disable , and already submitted and published my app, the subscription plans is not fatch for the users because it's rejected it. now I cannot submit it with the app. When i search they asked to add the subscription on an In App Purchases section which it's not there any more, It was only at the first time, now not.

During testing, purchases are working fine. So we uploaded a version to the play store. But now our users can’t make purchases, the error that pops up is “The device or user is not allowed to make the purchase” and other times it’s “There was a problem with the play store”.This is from a Unity project

Working setup now broken : RevenueCat Flutter

I had an initial functioning setup to get offerings and make a purchase. It worked : I could make a test purchase.The code was in a ‘shop’ page, and I decided to move the RevenueCat initialisation to main.dart as initial entry point. But maybe this wrong because it screwed everything up, and the app crashed on loading (error below). Subscription works in testflight, not production. IAP approved for over 48 hours.

I am unable to load an IAP/subscription after it has been approved for over 48 hours. Left a comment on an older post, but wanted to make a second thread for visibility. (Hope that’s cool) If I run the app on simulator, a local device, or test flight everything loads perfect.Subscription has been approved for over 48 hours. Subscription loads fine on local/testflight. Filled out all agreements.App is in pending developer release. I downloaded the app from the app store with a generated code, and in app purchases do not work.I ran the production app and plugged my phone in to view the console. Still getting “Could not find SkProduct for ( “my_product_name”) There is a problem with your configuration”, but only in production. “my_product_name” is not in the actual log, I did not include my real product name. I was wondering if there is anything I could still be missing, or do I need to wait longer? The in app purchase was approved on Saturday at 11 AM. It is not Monday, 6:45 PM.Any help

How to Check user subscription status, cancelation, upgradation, on our Backend server.

I am working on a app which have tinder like functionality. App functionality1- User will have 2 type of plan, ruby and Gold.2- Each plan will have 3 package like 1 month, 6 months and 1 years.3- based on these plan users will get number of likes and super likes for each day.4- Plan will be auto renewed until user cancel the plan manually.5- App is a cross platform (Flutter) . So If user purchase the plan in iOS he should be able to access the benefits in android version as well. Question- 1- As we are managing the number of likes and super likes for the user on our server. So my question is how can we Check if user purchase, upgrade downgrade or cancel the Subscription. (is there any way revenue cat provide to do this)? 2- If user have purchased the subscription in iOS using apple account (auto renewable subscription). and then he again try to purchase the subscription in android device how this will get managed. Please help me out to understand these points.
