Add originalTransactionID to CustomerInfo?

Currently in CustomerInfo, there are properties like originalPurchaseDate and originalApplicationVersion for grandfathering users but I found originalTransactionID missing. originalTransactionID was useful to identify Spam users with shared Apple ID accounts. Is it possible for RevenueCat to expose this property so that we don’t need to add a duplicate logic to decode the App Store receipt?Thanks.

Does the "Uncancellation" event in the Mixpanel integration also include Trial uncancellations?

If I check the docs (https://docs.revenuecat.com/docs/mixpanel) for the mixpanel integration, I see that for cancellations you differentiate between “Trial Cancelled” and “Cancellation”. However, on the uncancellation side there is only one event with the description “When a user re-enables the auto-renew status for a subscription.”Are uncancellations of trials not tracked or are they covered by this event?

iOs App Rejected: There was a problem with the App Store Exception

Hey, before anything else I just want to clarify that I have checked the previous topics about this issue and tried to apply (if there were any) the fixes. So my problem basically is as the title says, my iOS app gets rejected from AppStore with the following issue; There was a problem with the App Store ExceptionRejection due to exception; There was a problem with the App Store.But the interesting part is that I can make test subscription purchases successfully on my iOs device while running through Xcode or Android studio;Sandbox (ios device) subscription purchase successfulIt is a Flutter cross-platform application, so the code-base is the exactly same as Android and here are Android vs iOs debug logs;Android debug log, runs 100% fineiOs debug log, runs fine on testing but gets rejected by Apple for previously mentioned exception.Are the debug logs telling me something I fail to see or understand? I have noticed that on Android I got skuDetailsList debug that it isn’t nowhere to see

addCustomerInfoUpdateListener is never called

Using react-native-purchases v5.0.2 and I can’t seem to get Purchases.addCustomerInfoUpdateListener to fire when I make a purchase (it’s not a subscription in case that matters). Testing in both simulator and a device and neither seems to work.I have a hook to track “premium” status and I want my tab view to automatically update when premium is unlocked from a different screen. I could hack in a manual call to `getCustomerInfo` when a screen regains focus but this is error prone so I’d really like to avoid it. Also, in case it matters. The documentation mentions:This will fire whenever we receive a change in purchaser info on the current device and you should expect it to be called at launch and throughout the life of the app.But I’m not seeing it “called at launch” either. Any help here is greatly appreciated.

How do you disable existing subscriptions?

Currently we have 6 active monthly subscriptions products on Apple and Google, however we want to reduce this down to 2. If we disable/delete the other 4 what will happen to the users that are on those subscription products? Will their subscriptions renew at the end of the month?

Application get's stuck once we get "You are All set" from Apple App store

I have configured the revenue cat react native SDK. The products are configured in the offerings sections and they are getting fetched properly. All good until this moment. Once I clicked Buy now, The popup of Apple login opens up and after adding sandbox user credentials It says “purchase success-full” with “tick” sound on physical Iphone.Once that’s done, I get new popup saying “You are all set  mode:[sandbox””. After dismissing this popup my app freezes. Nothing happens. Double "New Customers" since July 15

Hi, I released a new version of my apps on July 14. Since July 15, RC is reporting double the new users (500 - 600), but the play console and apple connect is showing the same average users I get this days (200 - 300), I don’t know from where is RC reporting double. I did not change anything in my app logic or upgraded the sdk.

App Store Rejection - Receipt is mising

I’ve submitted my app to the Apple App Store and keep getting rejected for the error “Receipt is missing”.How can I simulate the exact method Apple uses to test apps?  Whenever I test using either:Xcode + a physical device + sandbox account or TestFlight + non-sandbox App ID​​​​the subscriptions go through successfully.  Hence I have a few questions: How do I replicate the error the app review team get so I can debug? In my scheme settings through Xcode before I submit my app, do I need to set the field StoreKit Configuration to “None”?  Or can I leave this selected on my StoreKit config file when I submit my app? How do I use this receipt validation link?  https://www.revenuecat.com/apple-receipt-validation/.  There are no directions for use on the website.  What do I need to enter in the first field which states “Paste your receipt”? What happens if we have to change the appUserId for the same user?

We used to have an old format for handling user ids that we currently use to initialize RevenueCat with. What are the downstream implications if we need to change the user id format for all users? More specifically:Would there be a chance that the client gets out of sync from Google Play/App Store?   What are the downstream implications in RevenueCat’s dashes/data reporting? Are there any other implications from changing the user id format? We are using Flutter so the code diff would be:# current codeawait Purchases.setup(_api, appUserId: oldUserIdString);# new codeawait Purchases.setup(_api, appUserId: newUserIdString);

New retention chart with user maturity

Hi, I just came across this article talking about the new segmentation support for the retention charts and also the consideration of user maturity now.I’m a little bit confused about the last point.From my understanding, it means that in the retention chart you don’t consider anymore that a user will renew until it has actually renewed, am I correct? When I look at a retention chart without any segment, it seems like you’re still considering that a user will renew unless it cancels its subscription:Retention chart for the last 90 days​​​​​​On the other hand, when I add a segment like country still for the last 90 days, I do only see the retention of the past 2 months, and no projection for the current month.Retention chart with a segment For me, the data dilemma you’re talking about in your article is occurring no matter if we add a segment or not. Would you have an explanation about these two different behaviors? Thank you,

Google play purchase working fine but at the revenuecat user subscription does not renew

Test user: I get correct data right after the purchase until the first renewal, after that, my monthly subscription is missing in purchaserInfo.entitlements.active even though it is still active in Play Store. Google play purchase working fine but at the revenuecat user subscription not renewing user can use just 5 minute(Test user). Google play renewing but revenuecat not renewing and also nothing happening in the sandbox. I have a consideration about this, I think this is about credential, i check out my credential and In my google play console API ACCESS - under the Credentials, there is info like on the picture. I created Credentials but I can't use them, Is it because of this info, should I configure OAuth consent screen? Please please please help me, i dont know what to do 😢

Sending Stripe tokens to RevenueCat (Squarespace)

I'm trying to integrate revenuecat with the stripe checkout on my squarespace website - so that when a customer subscribes the subscription will be automatically applied. Following this document up untill point 5 "Send Stripe Token to RevenueCat" https://www.revenuecat.com/docs/stripe#:~:text=Connect with Stripe,in the RevenueCat Stripe App. Does anyone know where the cURL code is meant to be added on the Squarespace platform?

🤖 Android issue: There was a problem with the store.

We’ve periodically been seeing a “There was a problem with the store” error when Android users try to purchase. Does RevenueCat have any logs that can help diagnose the error? Or how can I diagnose this problem?

Apple Search Ads + Revenuecat Integration

Hello, we are working on apple search ads attribution and revenuecat integration. I can't create new api key in apple search ads. When I am on the "Search Ads" > "API" page, there is NO 'Create Certificate' button or something else ( I'm the admin and used safari). Is there any other method?.And i got email from Apple:Please note that new API certificate creation is no longer supported. Detailed debug logs using Unity SDK are not displayed.

We’re integrating RevenueCat to our Unity app, but we can’t seem to find the way to display the detailed logs I’ve seen around in the documentation and in this forum. Those described here. I’ve tried in both an Android and an iOS build.I am, of course, calling SetDebugLogsEnabled(true) before calling Configure(...), as prescribed in the docs. I can also correctly purchase sandbox subscriptions using the SDK, so the setup phase seems to be working fine. (We’re using RevenueCat SDK 4.0.0 and Unity 2021.3.8)

jcenter dependencies should be replaced

I’m currently unable to create builds in Unity for Android because RC/Gradle fails to resolve its dependencies from jcenter. As jcenter becomes unreliable the more time passes and should not be used anymore, it would be great when you could replace these dependencies as quickly as possible.

Hi there.I offer yearly renewing subscription to my users.Now I want to create a referral program when the user gets 1 year of subscription as a gift.On Android I can refund him, but what about Apple?How can I grant them the free access without asking them to stop the renewing?

RevenueCat doesn't display subscription while it appears in Google Play

Hello! I have published my subscriptions in Google Play store recently.During the testing - the subscriptions appear correctly in RevenueCat sandbox. The subscription also appears in RevenueCat when I use release version of the application that’s downloaded from the Play Store with my test account.On the 31th of Oct there was a first subscription purchase by a real user and the purchase appears in Google Play. But there is no sign of this purchase in RevenueCat and also no sign of this purchase in my analytics where I log the purchase when it is received from RevenueCat callback in Android. I’m afraid that the user has paid for the subscription and didn’t receive its value due to RevenueCat not receiving the info about the purchase.I’d value some suggestions for investigating the issue and understanding what exactly is happening. Thanks in advance.

React-Native / Expo Go: How to solve `TypeError: null is not an object (evaluating 'RNPurchases.setupPurchases')`

Expo Go doesn’t build native modules, so you may run into this error while trying to run your app with react-native-purchases in Expo Go.  In order to use RevenueCat with Expo, you will have to create Development Builds, which can be done either by using EAS, or by making builds that are compatible with Xcode and Android Studio. There are detailed instructions for doing either one in this page:https://docs.expo.dev/development/build/ Easiest way to be able to debug is to just run either of the following:npx expo run:android -dnpx expo run:ios -d We also have a blog post that goes step-by-step into how to make an app with Expo and RevenueCat using EAS: https://www.revenuecat.com/blog/in-app-puchase-expo-managed-workflow/ Let us know if you run into any issues!

Sandbox and Production Interaction

Working through setting up RC for the first time am using https://docs.revenuecat.com/reference/subscribers to grab a particular user’s entitlements and subscriptions information. Per the docs, I see that the subscriptions payload returns a mapping of product_id to the subscription itself. When testing with a Sandbox account, I see the is_sandbox populates as true which is to be expected. If a user has a sandbox subscription and I then subscribe the same user with a production subscription, what exactly happens? Is this allowed and, if so, how does this affect the final subscriptions payload?

429 on Get Subscriber when using the suggested webhook implementation

We implemented the suggested Webhook implementation. From the docs: “To simplify the logic of handling different webhook types, we recommend creating a polling system using the GET /subscribers REST API to sync the subscription status of the customer from RevenueCat to your database. Then, each webhook event can simply be a trigger to call this sync function.” We implemented this solution. However, with this suggested implementation we get a lot of 429 (Rate Limit) error: We have a fallback that will retry the call to GET /subscribers, however I was wondering if there were other workarounds you can think of?  Are there plans to change this rate limit? I know other people have the same issue here

Revenue Report in Android in Regards to User Taxes

The revenue amount reported by RevenueCat did not equal the amount I expect, so I want to update my mental model. What am I missing? I’ve set the price to 24.99 USD. The Mr. Google set the price across the globe accordingly. The list price in Germany is 28.99 EUR including 19% VAT. So the price shown to user is 28.99 EUR. The 5.51 is deducted as a VAT. Then there was a purchase.  List Price: OK Tax: 4.63… Weird, that it’s not 5.51 as stated about, but… Okay. Estimated Revenue: OK. This is how what I expect to get after setting the price to 24.99 USD and deducting 15% Google’s share. It’s not exactly 85%, and I guess that’s because of conversions from USD to EUR. Bacause this is fine: What looks really, really out of scope is this: I’m seeing a List Price with the User’s country tax. And the revenue which is reported by Revenue Cat for this transaction is this: 24.714 USD.(I’ve double checked the receipt id, it is the proper transaction). The questionsIs that the List Price I’m seeing i

React Native SDK - Xcode and Billing Library

Hi,I’m, trying to upgrade my app to use Billing Library 4 for Android as per the new requirements for updates on Google.  However, the new 4.0 version of the Revenucat SDK for React doesn’t run on a clean IOS build with the SDK installed - throwing loads of errors. So, two quick questions for you all:Q1: Does the Version 4.0 of the Revenuecat React Native SDK need me to upgrade my Xcode to 14? (i’m on Xcode 13)Q2: Version 3.3 of the Revenuecat React Native SDK works fine for IOS. However, does it use the Billing Library 4 that I need?Thanks in advance!Paul

RevenueCat does not return offerings with subscriptions

Flutter SDK: I’ve configured subscriptions and in-app products on the play console, I also setup the offerings on revenuecat but when I try to fetch the offerings for subscriptions I get an error below:😿‼️ Error fetching offerings - PurchasesError(code=ConfigurationError, underlyingErrorMessage=There's a problem with your configuration. This test purchase was cancelled because it was not acknowledged.
