Subscriber get returning a 401

When I test the /subscribers/{app_user_id} endpoint on the API reference page using my public key, I get a 200 response.However, when I run the same code from my Node cloud function, I consistently get back a 401.Any ideas as to why this is?

Provide free month to an existing subscriber

We have a few subscribers who have had minor issues with the subscription product in our app. As a sign of good faith, we’d like to proactively offer them a free month so they stick around. We’ve seen articles for providing an introductory offer, but our use case seems to be a little different. Month 1: User starts an active monthly subscription (user pays)Month 2: We provide a “free month” so that the user is NOT billed on renewal (user does not pay)Month 3: User is automatically billed again moving forward (user pays) Is there a way to do this while keeping the subscriber active throughout the entire process, and all behind the scenes so no action is needed from their end? Any feedback is appreciated. Apple rejects subscription because it is not visible

Hi there,we have an one-time IAP in our app. Additionally we want to experiment with short-time (weekly) subscriptions. We thought that would make sense in our case, since some of our users are using the app just 1-2 weeks in a year.So we created and submitted a subsription on the store, but it got rejected, because it is not visible in the app. To attach it to an entitlement it has to be published in the store, which again not possible, because it is not visible. How do we solve this chicken-egg-situation? We have begun the review of your in-app purchases but aren't able to continue because your submitted in-app purchases indicate a change of business model for your app. Specifically, your existing Non-Consumable business model has changed to include a auto-renewable subscription in-app purchase business model type.Therefore, we need to verify the implementation of your submitted in-app purchases in the app to ensure your app, and its in-app purchases, are in compliance with the App S

Generic subscriptions?

Hi! I am wondering how Twitch does a generatic subsciption IAP. Looks like they have only one subscription “1Sub Token”, but when you try to subscribe to individual users, it displays the username next to the checkout flow. E.g., in the screenshot “Subscription - Asmongold”.

Apple Search Ads Attribution - Not Working

Hello, we are having trouble with getting Apple Search Ads attribution data for our app. We have followed the integration instructions located here: https://docs.revenuecat.com/docs/apple-search-ads, and have added the required configuration line: Purchases.automaticAppleSearchAdsAttributionCollection = true We also made sure that the iAd framework is imported in our project. Our apps asks authorization via the App Tracking Transparency framework. We are running ASA for quite a few weeks now, and have released the version with the attribution configuration more than two ago, but we cannot see any kind of breakdown by campaign or adgroup in the Charts segmentation settings. We are only seeing Organic users:  We don’t know what we are doing wrong. Is there any way that to test our configuration in Sandbox mode? Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Objective-C, how to access RCStoreFront

Good eveningWe are moving away from calling SK1 directly towards using RC in iOS. We do use SKStorefront. We see the RCStoreFront class in the xcframework but we haven’t found a way to access/init/fetch it. Dead end? Can you point us in the right direction? How to get a RCStoreFront in ObjC Thank you

Can't get Promotional Offers to work

I have followed instructions from the official documentation (https://docs.revenuecat.com/docs/ios-subscription-offers) but I can’t get promotional offers to appear.I’m using a sandbox user, which has an expired annual subscription. Introductory offers on Apple when doing crossgrades?

Hi, We have a scenario where a user wants to do a crossgrade within the same subscription group. i.e. move from a monthly to annual subscription. However at the moment we have an introductory offer on our annual subscription where a user pays £79.99 for the first year which run until this Saturday (26th March). I have a few questions: If a user initiates a crossgrade today (i.e. going to the managementUrl in Apple App Store and subscribing to the annual subscription) will the introductory offer work for them? From reading your blog online it says that they wont be charged for the crossgrade until their month is finished. However at this point the introductory offer will not be live anymore. So seen as they initiated the crossgrade today will they still get the introductory offer price? Can a user avail of an introductory offer if they crossgrade to a new product within the same subscription group? From reading online it seems they will only be eligible for an intro offer if they haven'

Not receiving 'TRANSFER' webhook in Sandbox environment

We are currently testing restore purchase behavior on the Test Flight version of our app. When evoking the restore purchase behavior the app was able to locate the current subscription and unlock pro level features, but we never received a TRANSFER webhook. Are TRANSFER events available in Sandbox/Test Flight environments.

Hi, quick easy question from a newbie. What I have to use to get the Appstore country used to fetch the Appstore purchases ? Is that in packages? if let packages = offerings?.current?.availablePackages { … Also I need to be able to show the price in the Appstore country Currency , not the locale country, how to achieve that? Thank you.

I created a new in app product and add it to the offer list in reventcat, when trying to fetch the offerings list, I only can see the current offer:    Is there something I can do to see it through revneucat? I’m using com.revenuecat.purchases:purchases:5.0.0-rc3 latest sdk

Offerring Override

I see the option to override an offering on the customer page. I’m assuming this doesn’t change the offering the customer has with Apple/Google?  The user case I'm tried to cater for is the following: Existing subscriber completes a challenge in app. We reward them with a promotion on their subscription (e.g. 30 days free).From what I've read you can use iOS offer codes, but its messy. Wondering if anyway to setup a promo in RevCat then target specific user IDs by overriding their offering. Likely not but thought I would ask anyway. Thanks all

RevenueCat Dashboard not showing user attributes.

I would like to report a possible bug found on RevenueCat dashboard, like I wrote recently on another thread which is marked as resolved, even though the bug still persists:I am using this code to update user name and email, but the changes don’t show up on Customer Profile page for this user on RevenueCat dashboard.Purchases.setDisplayName(“John Doe”);Purchases.setEmail(“john@doe.com”); @goleary confirmed the bug also occurs in his project, and gave more information:Same here, I’m setting attributes via the REST API, and they show up when I hit the subscriber status endpoint, but they do not show up in the RevenueCat dashboard. Here’s a link to the other, related discussion:

Problems iwrh dashboard graphs

The Graphs report no revenue and no new trials since more than 24 hrs.We do have both though.System status shows everything green which it obviously isn’t  CheersKarl

Trial End Date/Trial Conversion Date Mismatch

We recently had a user who started their 14 day free trial on March 31.We got a webhook from revenueCat for this initial purchase with an expiration date of April 14 at 06:13GMT. We use this expiration date as the trial end date / next renewal date.The user’s customer profile lists that their trial converts on April 15th and we haven’t yet received another webhook for this user (which makes sense because it is not the 15th yet).Why is there a discrepency between the expiration date in the webhook and the trial conversion date?These types of errors end up with users who don’t have access to an app that they paid for and are very rightfully upset as a result.

How to offer permanent discounts on subscriptions?We currently offer two subscription plans, monthly, and yearly.  Everything is setup and works fine so far.  What we would like to do, is for our affiliate program, offer a % discount to people are referred to the app using a discount code.  We track and setup this separately, so we can pull a different “offer” from revcat.  We’re just not sure how to configure this so that users can’t see all of our subscription pricing from the native subscription management pages.  I saw that iOS offers “discount codes”, but we aren’t giving unique one-time use discount codes to customers (many customers will show up with the same “referral code”).  If someone gets referred to the app, we want to show them a separate set of subscriptions.  However, on iOS, it seems like the user can switch between all available subscriptions via the iOS subscriptions manager.  We don’t want to show (or allow switching to) these other plans for users that didn’t come

Call to Purchases.shared.getProducts(["my_product_id"]) is returning 0 - can someone help?

Hi,I’ve setup my App Store Connect with a test product and added to RevenueCat too. Also installed the latest version of RevenueCat in my iOS app - now I’m trying to do a test subscription purchase on a physical device from within my app but hitting a problem.I see all the initialisation debug messages from RevenueCat in the XCode debug window - however, when I’m making the call to Purchases.shared.getProducts([“my_product_id”]), RevenueCat is not returning any product back. The SwiftUI code I’m using is pretty much exactly the same as posted by @Michael Eovine  in his post from a few weeks ago @  Note: I was hoping the RevenueCat documentation would help provide some useful details but surprisingly there’s only one single mention of ‘getProducts’ (see https://docs.revenuecat.com/docs/ios-native-3x-to-4x-migration#api-changes-1) and it’s in the context of it replacing the ‘products’ call. Can someone from the RevenueCat support team please assist in either suggesting troubleshooting st

"Header 'RevenueCat-Swift.h' not found" and "Could not build Objective-C module 'RevenueCat'"

I integrated RevenueCat into an app written in Swift and SwiftUI. Multiple devices, single App store ID.

Hello. I'm interested in understanding how installing the app on a new device with the same app store id is handled when both devices are logged in with different anonymous revenue cat ids.  Will the user have to restore purchases every time they switch devices, because of the "transfer purchase" behavior or are the two anonymous ids reconciled by revenue cat as belonging to the same App store id?   Thanks!

Support for other payments(crypto)

Hey all, I love the idea of RevenueCat being the single source of truth for payments, especially the subscription part.I am building an app that is cross platform(android, ios and web). I use Ionic capacitor, so the frontend is also fully cross platform. But I have quite a few different payment methods.I am adding both in app purchases and also stripe for web. But for web, I also support crypto(eth) payment. Now I know RevenueCat does not and most likely cannot support “all” payment methods. So I am not asking for Crypto payment method support, but it would be super nice if we could add a general customizable app in the project settings, where my backend can simply post new payment data created by some other 3rd party payment method(such as crypto) With this implemented, I can just check RevenueCat data to check if a user is subscribed to a specific plan, whereas now, I would have to check both RevenueCat and also check if a user is subscribed through Crypto, basically as soon as we ad

Introductory Offer Stopped Working for Reviewer

Hi there, so my app has a few options for subscriptions. A couple of those options have an introductory offer. When my app builds my paywall VC it fetches all my products from Revenuecat and uses them to fill in the regular price from the products respective .localizedPriceString. The setup function then passes through a guard which checks if the user has subscribed before by calling .getCustomerInfo and verifying if both .entitilments.all and .allPurchasedProductIdentifiers are empty. If they both come back empty then the introductory prices are added to my paywall vc as well to be presented to the user.In my own sandbox testing this seems to work fine. I submitted my app for review, and it has been rejected a few times now. The first couple were for other issues so assumed the paywall experience was fine. The Revenuecat customer sandbox account seemed to say so. However I have now been rejected a couple times in a row because my paywall is preseting the reviewer the intro pricing but

Is there an API to get dashboard statictics?

Hi, We have an internal statistics tools which collects various statistics each day, which are then used in various internal reports.I would like to add some data available in RC dashboard to those reports, for example the number of active subscription (ideally per app), and the MRR (ideally per app as well).Is it a way to easily get those informations from RevenueCat? I would probably use the API to get all subscriptions and compute those myself, but it would be much more efficient to use the data calculated by RC. Thanks,
