After having subscriptions working correctly in my apps on ios and android, since yesterday I have started receiving an error when connecting to the android play store and it is not possible to make a subscription on android. Anyone know what might be happening?

We have an app that requires the users to login before making a purchase.We’re observing (in our sandbox testing) that occasionally a users subscription gets transferred from one of our users id’s to an anonymous id. For iOS I’ve managed to make it work perfectly.Now, on Android it seems to be all correct, but the paywall shown is not the one I have configured, it seems a basic default one.I’ve checked and I have the correct Products and Offerings, as I always check it with the getOfferings function in the app.What I can do, do you know what could be the problem?Thanks!

Something strange has been happening over this last week. Each user who starts a free trial has it automatically cancelled due to a billing error. Event data reported by RC contains "cancel_reason": "BILLING_ERROR".The app currently looks for billing issues (via billingIssueDetectedAt  in RCEntitlementInfo) and guides the user to update their App Store billing. Beyond this, to prevent revenue loss, I’ve switched to a discounted offering without a free trial while I figure out what’s going on.For context, it’s an iOS app using Purchases v3.11.1 (although this is probably not an SDK issue).Any ideas as to what’s happening here?

I’ve been reading docs for hours and hours. I’ve read this post: https://www.revenuecat.com/docs/stripe To accept stripe payments I can use a Stripe Checkout (https://stripe.com/payments/checkout) It’s a stripe payment page hosted by stripe which prevents me from having to set up my own payment server. Here’s where I’m lost. After I receive a payment, I have to “Send Stripe tokens to RevenueCat”. How do I do that? I can’t figure out how to initiate a POST request from Stripe Checkout that sends the required info to Revenuecat. We are using Paddle for web subscriptions and aren’t sure how to link userIDs and sync status with RevenueCat. Is there a way we can post userIDs and subscription status to RevenueCat so that when the user logs in on iOS we know if they are subscribed or not. The reason I want to do it this way is because otherwise we’ll have to create a new layer on our backend that tracks subscription status for all users and we will need to check that instead of the RevenueCat SDK which kind of defeats the purpose.  Otherwise, we could first check if they are RevenueCat subscribed then check our backend too - which would work I think. But isn’t there some web sdk for subscriptions?

I am testing purchasing my subscriptions in sandbox. My device has purchased a subscription before, and it has expired.When I go in to purchase again, `Purchases.shared.purchasePackage` returns immediately with the `purchaserInfo` and the default entitlement shows my previous purchase, with an isActive status of false. I was never presented with the purchase modal. When I `restoreTransactions`, the `purcahserInfo` shows the same, an expired entitlement. Why can’t I re-purchase an expired subscription?

I’ve encountered an issue using Xcode 14 beta 4. Updated to RevenueCat 4.9.0 and still seeing the issue. If I use a StoreKit config file with an iOS 16 simulator, when I attempt to make a purchase, the iOS pay dialog never appears and I get RevenueCat.ErrorCode Code=1 "Purchase was cancelled." If I switch to an iOS 15 simulator, it works fine. If I switch to a different scheme that doesn’t use StoreKit, I get the iOS dialog to sign in. If I try this on my own iOS 16 device, it works fine. I’ve set up a synced StoreKit Configuration file for my app. On simulators it fetches all the offerings without a hitch, but when running on device it doesn’t. Is this a known limitation or is there something I’ve missed?

Hi! We noticed a somewhat rare crash that we’ve only recently been able to reproduce. This affects all iOS SDK version up to 4.17.5 (the latest at the time of writing). Basically we get a hard crash on[[RCPurchases sharedPurchases] purchasePackage...];The call stack simply points to libobjc.A.dylib at objc_msgSend within our method that calls purchasePackage.We haven’t noticed this crash with the restorePurchasesWithCompletion call. The crash doesn’t happen with getOfferingsWithCompletion either. We were finally able to reproduce this crash in the past few days with our TestFlight builds (and ONLY with TestFlight builds). We are calling all 3 methods from a thread that is not the main thread. Since only purchasePackage crashes (and on Android there are no crashes at all on any of the methods when not called from the UI thread), we never considered this to be an issue. RevenueCat project setting, I keep entering my In-app purchase key configuration but it does not allow me to select “save changes” and when I come back to the same setting page, I don’t see my entry in this section persisting. Has anyone countered this?

I'm running into an issue where offerings are not loading only on iOS 18.4. All of my apps that use RevenueCat have been working fine for months, and they still work perfectly on iOS 18.2, and earlier versions. This is happening in all of my apps and I haven’t changed anything recently. I’ve gone through everything mentioned in this article multiple times to make sure my setup is correct. I’ve tested this on both a real device (using a sandbox account) and the simulator The issue is the same on both. I am getting the V2 Paywalls setup.  I have it working on my Simulator just fine.  Now I am testing an actual device & my Paywall gets stuck.the `applicationId` is the same on both. I was originally calling `await Purchases.getOfferings();` so I could show my custom loading instead of the loading paywall UI.  But that was getting stuck also.There are NO errors in my logs.   I  do have `MISSING_METADATA` warnings, but isn’t that OK because it’s a “DEV” bundle and will never actually be submited for approval.  Plus, it renders on the simulator.  That being said, I have added screenshots so they’re now “Ready to Submit”. Is there something different about my physical iPhone compared to simulator? Android is OK on both simulator & device

Our app is built in Unity, and right now managing paywalls requires developer work every time we want to test or update something.Does anyone know if there’s an official timeline for Unity Paywalls UI (similar to what’s available on iOS/Android/Flutter)? I'm trying to make a purchase using the method below, it prompts me to enter the password, it works fine but the completion block is never called.
