We need to add some metadata (key-values) to user’s payments. As an example, we’d like to send workspaceId and other key-value parameters along with a payment that user is creating.I understand that there is a Subscriber attributes which offers capturing custom metadata on the user object, however what we need is to attach metadata to individual payments and not users.Anyway to acheive this functionality with RevenueCat APIs?

I am looking to give all of our company staff a free ‘upgrade’ to our paid plan.I see in the docs about ‘granting entitlements’, but only users who have paid show up, so can be granted entitlements.  Is there a way to see all app users to grant entitlements to our staff?

Hello, Let’s say I have a project called Flexifit that is both on the mobile and the web.I am using revenuecat to handle subscriptions on the iOs app, users are presented with a paywall before signin in, meaning that they could be a “pro” member without user account.After they create account, how do I reliably “attach” the revenue cat user to my database user? Also on top of that what uniquely identifies the revenue cat user? is it the original_app_user_id or is the email address that is used to login to the app store? I want a single source of truth so that I could verify their subscription status no matter what device they are using.The reason for this is that if user decides to go use the web version, I could check their pro status by calling my database and then checking what revenue cat user id belongs to the current user.

We are using Paddle for web subscriptions and aren’t sure how to link userIDs and sync status with RevenueCat. Is there a way we can post userIDs and subscription status to RevenueCat so that when the user logs in on iOS we know if they are subscribed or not. The reason I want to do it this way is because otherwise we’ll have to create a new layer on our backend that tracks subscription status for all users and we will need to check that instead of the RevenueCat SDK which kind of defeats the purpose.  Otherwise, we could first check if they are RevenueCat subscribed then check our backend too - which would work I think. But isn’t there some web sdk for subscriptions?

I use the latest version of purchase_flutter (4.2.1) in my Flutter app.I get an error in the Google Play Console that I have to use Billing Library version 4 or newer. I am trying to verify a user’s subscription on my backend, and it seems like there’s a lot of event types from the revenuecat webhook to consider.https://www.revenuecat.com/docs/integrations/webhooks/event-types-and-fieldsI want to know if i want to ensure my user’s subscription status on my backend matches with the revenuecat source of truth, do i need to necessarily implement a handler for each of these event types? It feels like alot of effort, and I am wondering if there is usually a need to implement handling for all event cases, or do most apps just need to implement for a few event types?

Hi, I am new to programming and RevenueCat.  My IOS app has a subscription purchase option and the user was able to make a purchase, which I think shows up in Revenue Cat but I am not 100% sure as I don’t know how to directly relate the RevenueCat app ID to the user.  Fortunately, at the present time I do not have a large number of users so I believe I have identified the user correctly. However, when the user logs and the app queries  Purchases.shared.purchaserInfo, the entitlements comes back as nil.   I have searched the documentation and can’t understand what I have done wrong and am at a loss of where to start troubleshooting.  Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Went through this list  and followed all the rules. Everything works fine in debug and I am able to make sandbox purchases. But when it comes to production offerings are empty.Any idea why it’s happening or how can I debug the problem?

Hi there, We're using `purchases_flutter: 3.9.5` in our Flutter app. When I sent a Test Flight with our IAP implementation, all users get an iOS popup saying the `Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions have changed`, which upon pressing "ok" takes the user to a blank screen.  This state is so weird that revenue cat doesn't even return anything from the Purchase method. Hey, I have setup a RevenueCat and before making any purchase attempt, the price shown is in USD. Once I press buy, I am prompted to login to my apple account and after the login, the correct currency is selected. In the app the currency updates after I close and reopen the app. Is there a possibility to change the default currency to EUR from USD? My app is not even available in any country that uses USD as legal tender so it is confusing to my users. I have so far only tested in Testflight on two devices. 

I’ve just launched an app into production and it’s not showing Free Trials correctly. I was under the understanding that this could be an issue in the Sandbox environment, but shouldn’t be an issue in production – however that appears to not be the case.When users do click on ‘buy’ they are shown the free trial text in the system dialog, but it's a little late by then.The Free Trial offers *are* showing when using the StoreKit config, so everything appears to be wired up correctly on the application side.Any tips?

We're building an iOS and an Android app that uses RevenueCat to manage the subscriptions.There's a free trial period and we'd like to send users an email 2 days before their free trial period ends.  It sounded like maybe one of the webhooks could do that, but we weren't sure.  Is it possible with a webhook or is there another method you suggest? 

I'm currently facing an issue with implementing promo codes in my app. Currently, my app has only one subscription, but we would like to provide different "promo codes" that offer discounts on the subscription based on the code entered. After reading the documentation on promo codes for Android, I discovered that the Play Console promo codes don't exactly meet our requirements. They only allow for providing free trials to users and don't directly support subscription discounts. However, I came across the "subscription offers" feature and had an idea of creating a subscription offer with the criteria "developer determined." I’m building an app using Flutterflow, Firebase Authentication and RevenueCat.Authentication is optional and RevenueCat App Store subscriptions are optional with a freemium model.After a user has upgraded to a premium subscription, if they subsequently logout or login from the app (firebase auth) their RevenueCat entitlement is “forgotten”. When the user tries to subscribe again, their entitlement is “re-discovered”.Is this intended behaviour? I swear it wasn’t doing this a few days ago, but perhaps I didn't notice. I am trying to localize Paywalls with no success.I tried to enter detailed text in Paywall setup.However, month and year words are never get translated.Actually, They are both localized inside Google and Apple stores.They show up correct once you go inside Apple or Google after clicking paywall but not on the actual paywall.So, how should I set this up?

I am pretty new to Revenuecat. Sorry if this problem is answered a hundred times, but I could not find a solution. Here is my problem:I do have an iOS app and have a paywall view. The user can either subscribe for a monthly or annual payment (I managed to set this up in App Store Connect and Revenuecat and this all works fine), or he can select a free trial for 14 days.I know, that I can set up a free trial in app store connect, but as far as I understand, this automatically will start a chargeable subscription, if he does not cancel before the end of the trial period. Hello, Any ideas as to why the app will be receiving active entitlements even months after the subscription has expired? Currently I have an app in production, and while going through some of the “Expired” accounts, I noticed that a few of them are still active with the application. I have checked, and double checked, tested the logic of the app and it seems as if it should block the person from using the app and being directed to a subscription page. However, the only reasonable explanation as to why the users are still having access to the app would be if RevenueCat’s SDK is sending back an active entitlement.  I have a method, that each time the app becomes active is called, this method is in charge of verifying that the user has an active subscription each time the app becomes active. Within “checkForActiveSubscription()” I call the “purchaserInfo” to get the latest information from the purchaser as per the instructio

Hello,I am wondering whether it’s possible to grant all users of my app a Premium entitlement for 1 month, lets say for the entire September. I want all existing and new users to receive this entitlement as long as it is still September. Currently my app has launched and there are already a few active subscriptions, the free 1 month premium would not really affect these users since most of them are already on trial but if they were to cancel for whatever reason, they should still have Premium for remainder of September.An alternative to this would be that new users would get 1 month entitlement from the day they download the app, however I don’t know how this would work for existing users.I also want to easily be able to apply the entitlement to all app users at once if possible and new users should also continue to get it.What is the best way to go about this?
