We need to add some metadata (key-values) to user’s payments. As an example, we’d like to send workspaceId and other key-value parameters along with a payment that user is creating.I understand that there is a Subscriber attributes which offers capturing custom metadata on the user object, however what we need is to attach metadata to individual payments and not users.Anyway to acheive this functionality with RevenueCat APIs?

Hi, I am new to programming and RevenueCat.  My IOS app has a subscription purchase option and the user was able to make a purchase, which I think shows up in Revenue Cat but I am not 100% sure as I don’t know how to directly relate the RevenueCat app ID to the user.  Fortunately, at the present time I do not have a large number of users so I believe I have identified the user correctly. However, when the user logs and the app queries  Purchases.shared.purchaserInfo, the entitlements comes back as nil.   I have searched the documentation and can’t understand what I have done wrong and am at a loss of where to start troubleshooting.  Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Our Android Live app is seeing a lot of the following errors when users try to pay for our app. Recently, a lot of users with newer Android phones are also having this issue so don’t believe it’s a Google Play version issue. Does anyone know what is causing this? "Purchases offerings error" {"code":3,"message":"The device or user is not allowed to make the purchase.","readableErrorCode":"PurchaseNotAllowedError","readable_error_code":"PurchaseNotAllowedError","underlyingErrorMessage":"Billing is not available in this device. I'm currently facing an issue with implementing promo codes in my app. Currently, my app has only one subscription, but we would like to provide different "promo codes" that offer discounts on the subscription based on the code entered. After reading the documentation on promo codes for Android, I discovered that the Play Console promo codes don't exactly meet our requirements. They only allow for providing free trials to users and don't directly support subscription discounts. However, I came across the "subscription offers" feature and had an idea of creating a subscription offer with the criteria "developer determined." This way, I could create an offer with a discount and maintain a list of valid codes within the app. When a user enters a valid code on the app paywall, the offer with the discounted price should be applied to their purchase. With this plan in mind, I created a developer-determined offer yesterday.  It goes something like this:1 - Sign into RC with appID12 - Purchase subscription.3 - Sign out and back in again using appID24 - RC says no subscription active for appID2 and so we present offerings.5 - Purchase fails because (presumably) Play Store thinks we already have an active sub because appID1 bought one using the common PlayStore sign in.I’d like to prohibit sub sharing across different accounts.In order for appID2 to be able to purchase a subscription, another Play Store account needs to be used.What’s the general best practice for dealing with this scenario?Many thanks.

I am looking to give all of our company staff a free ‘upgrade’ to our paid plan.I see in the docs about ‘granting entitlements’, but only users who have paid show up, so can be granted entitlements.  Is there a way to see all app users to grant entitlements to our staff?

Hello, Any ideas as to why the app will be receiving active entitlements even months after the subscription has expired? Currently I have an app in production, and while going through some of the “Expired” accounts, I noticed that a few of them are still active with the application. I have checked, and double checked, tested the logic of the app and it seems as if it should block the person from using the app and being directed to a subscription page. However, the only reasonable explanation as to why the users are still having access to the app would be if RevenueCat’s SDK is sending back an active entitlement.  I have a method, that each time the app becomes active is called, this method is in charge of verifying that the user has an active subscription each time the app becomes active. Within “checkForActiveSubscription()” I call the “purchaserInfo” to get the latest information from the purchaser as per the instructio

I am trying to localize Paywalls with no success.I tried to enter detailed text in Paywall setup.However, month and year words are never get translated.Actually, They are both localized inside Google and Apple stores.They show up correct once you go inside Apple or Google after clicking paywall but not on the actual paywall.So, how should I set this up?

Hey, I have setup a RevenueCat and before making any purchase attempt, the price shown is in USD. Once I press buy, I am prompted to login to my apple account and after the login, the correct currency is selected. In the app the currency updates after I close and reopen the app. Is there a possibility to change the default currency to EUR from USD? My app is not even available in any country that uses USD as legal tender so it is confusing to my users. I have so far only tested in Testflight on two devices.

I’ve just launched an app into production and it’s not showing Free Trials correctly. I was under the understanding that this could be an issue in the Sandbox environment, but shouldn’t be an issue in production – however that appears to not be the case.When users do click on ‘buy’ they are shown the free trial text in the system dialog, but it's a little late by then.The Free Trial offers *are* showing when using the StoreKit config, so everything appears to be wired up correctly on the application side.Any tips?

We're building an iOS and an Android app that uses RevenueCat to manage the subscriptions.There's a free trial period and we'd like to send users an email 2 days before their free trial period ends.  It sounded like maybe one of the webhooks could do that, but we weren't sure.  Is it possible with a webhook or is there another method you suggest? 

I am looking to be able to show unlocked features in a web based version of my app. If I make it so users can subscribe in either the iPhone or Android store but still access un-locked content on the web or desktop versions?  

We’re currently at the testing phase for subscriptions, and are running into some challenges. We’ve made sandbox user accounts on our devices, but when we test subscriptions in our apps, the default apple ID is used. It’s not billing us, but it throws the subscription into a weird state of limbo where it’s not a real subscription that shows up on my personal apple ID, and it’s not a sandbox purchase which shows up under that subscription listing. We do see the sandbox purchases in Revenue Cat, but we’re unclear how to delete a subscription that doesn’t appear under our personal apple ID or the sandbox ID?I’m seeing one work around is to logout with the personal Apple ID, and then make a sandbox purchase, logging in with the sandbox ID. However, logging out of an iPhone totally jacks up the device as that’s connected to like everything -- not an ideal solution.The real #1 question is how to delete subscriptions so we can retest, ideally without having to log out of our

I’m building an app using Flutterflow, Firebase Authentication and RevenueCat.Authentication is optional and RevenueCat App Store subscriptions are optional with a freemium model.After a user has upgraded to a premium subscription, if they subsequently logout or login from the app (firebase auth) their RevenueCat entitlement is “forgotten”. When the user tries to subscribe again, their entitlement is “re-discovered”.Is this intended behaviour? I swear it wasn’t doing this a few days ago, but perhaps I didn't notice. Hello - I’ve tried to summarise our problem as concisely as possible below: Problem: How do we understand promotion code redemption & user behaviour using RevenueCat?Context: We recently ran a promotion using codes generated in App Store Connect. Users who redeemed these codes received two months free on our product. The promotion is now complete and we want to understand what behaviour was like for this cohort. e.g. How many of these users continued with us or did they churn? What’s their LTV? etc.  Details: Within App Store Connect Reporting we can identify users who redeemed a code and see their ‘Subscriber ID’. Within RevenueCat we then have no method of tying users together i.e. there appears to be no common identifier across the two systems for a given user. Additionally it doesn’t appear that promotion codes sync across the two platforms i.e. when viewing an individual customer in RC, I can’t see within their history if they have

This is the scenario.I develop with Flutter.I have a subscription that is automatically renewed monthly or annually.My app can safely work with all the features even off-line.Of course, to subscribe, you need to be online.But I wonder: if after the first monthly subscription, the user always uses my app off-line (he must of course remember to put the device off-line before using it), how can I check if the subscription has been deleted?Can there be a way?Thanks for any suggestion.

Hello,I am wondering whether it’s possible to grant all users of my app a Premium entitlement for 1 month, lets say for the entire September. I want all existing and new users to receive this entitlement as long as it is still September. Currently my app has launched and there are already a few active subscriptions, the free 1 month premium would not really affect these users since most of them are already on trial but if they were to cancel for whatever reason, they should still have Premium for remainder of September.An alternative to this would be that new users would get 1 month entitlement from the day they download the app, however I don’t know how this would work for existing users.I also want to easily be able to apply the entitlement to all app users at once if possible and new users should also continue to get it.What is the best way to go about this?
