Hello,I have created a paywall in revenuecat’s designer. I have an issue with scroll and carousels: having a carousel in a scrolling screen prevent user from scrolling vertically (impossible on iOS, extremly hard on Android). I thinks it’s a gesture detection issue, trying to scroll vertically make an horizontal scroll on the carousel instead. If you have any tips !
RevenueCat provides robust subscription management across iOS, Android, and web apps, but the real power comes when this data is integrated with BI tools or CRMs for analytics and business decisions. Here’s how to do it efficiently:1. Use RevenueCat WebhooksRevenueCat supports real-time webhooks for events like subscription purchases, renewals, cancellations, and failed payments. By configuring these webhooks, you can push subscription data to your CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) or analytics pipelines instantly.2. Export Data via RevenueCat APIRevenueCat offers a REST API to programmatically access subscription, user, and transaction data. This allows you to automate daily or hourly exports to data warehouses or BI platforms like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.3. ETL Pipelines for Data WarehousesSet up an ETL pipeline that pulls RevenueCat data via API or webhooks, transforms it into analytics-ready format, and loads it into your BI system. This ensures historical trends, MRR, churn, an
Hey everyone,I was reading through this closed thread about tracking revenue by specific Apple Search Ads keywords.Like many of you, I had the same problem. RevenueCat shows Campaign/AdGroup level data, but without keyword-level visibility it's impossible to see which specific keywords are actually driving conversions vs. just burning cash - unless you pay $5k+ for an enterprise MMP.I ended up building something called AppSkale that connects your ASA data with RevenueCat so you can see exactly which keywords are generating revenue and which ones aren't.Just wanted to drop this here in case anyone from the old thread is still stuck on this. Hope it helps!
I set up my products in the RevenueCat dashboard back in 2021. In the changelog for the new Flutter v9 package, it specifically warns:please make sure your one-time purchase products have been correctly configured in the RevenueCat dashboard as either consumable or non-consumable. If they're incorrectly configured as consumables, RevenueCat will consume these purchases. This means that users won't be able to restore them from version 9.0.0 onward I double-checked my “lifetime_no_ads” product, and right now it’s set up as a “Non-renewing Subscription.” But honestly, “Non-consumable” seems like the more accurate choice. This issue only exists on iOS — on Android it’s already set correctly as a non-consumable.So here’s my question: if I switch it from a non-renewing subscription to a non-consumable, will existing customers run into any problems, or should it be a smooth transition?
I have an existing legacy paywall in production for my app, Please Don't Rain.I’m building my first v2 paywall. It’s a draft that’s in inactive state. In the documentation I see the RC app showing drafts in both the “published” and “inactive” sections. In my RC app (v1.5.2) I only have a “published” section that shows my existing v1 paywall.I’ve tried duplicating the inactive v2 paywall, pulling down to refresh in the RC app, etc. but I never see my new paywall in the RC app.
Tbh im super super paywall editor won't support centering vertically and surprised example paywalls are basically hardcoded heights and won't look good when switched to tablet screen preview. The paywall editor is lacking option to centre element in available screen height. Take any example of the paywall, switch to tablet screen preview and you'll see everything anchored to top of the screen instead centred vertically to take full available screen height...Reproduce easily: create empty paywall → add features element and try to center it vertically in available space - theres no way to do it as element spacing cannot be set to fill height because “can't fill width - parent element set to Fit”. But parent element is simply paywall element without option to adjust this setting. Setting height to pixels. Without feature of entering element in available space its not possible to build properly reactive UI adapting to different screen heights
Hello, In my app I sell subscription and consumable in-app purchase packages. In the app my default offer includes subscription packages. I’m fetching my in-app purchase packages with hardcoded offer id like “default_credit_offer” and I want to make experiments for default_credit_offer but I haven’t found the solution for that issue can you help me for that. Is revenue cat support this situation?
purchases_flutter: ^8.10.0purchases_ui_flutter: ^8.10.0 If a user is on Android is not logged into their Google account, the paywall shows “Error 2: There was a problem with the store”. This pop-up blocks interactions and the ok button does not work. Furthermore there is no way to customize this message for example to say “Please login to your Google account”.On top of this, the Paywall does not have a good cache invalidate method, its often updated in the Rev Cat UI, and no updates show up for hours on App? Additionally the Paywall edit screen is buggy, changing text inside the ReveneuCat dashboard is often not reflected in the preview, even days later.
I’m trying to answer the question using RevenueCat charts and data. At what price point is optimal for install to paying conversion that results in higher LTV?We done some A/B price testing, but not across all prices, and also had different prices at different types.I can look at retention charts and segment by Product ID (which we use to distinguish between pricing). But I can’t segment any conversion charts by product ID. So I can’t tell when and at what price we saw higher install to paying conversion, to determine what is the optimal price for conversion and revenue. Maybe I'm looking at this the wrong way. Any help is appreciated!
Hi!I tried the “Auto-populate your metrics” function in the Health Score page and I can’t find the data entered automatically on my dashboard. For exemple: the trial start that has been populated automatically is 3,714% and when I look at the trial conversion chart, I can’t find this figure. I tried different grouping and timeframe but impossible to get this figure. Can you help me understand how is it computed please ?Thanks in advance,Marion
Hey how do I display an icon on the app project? Do I need the app to be published? or how does that work?
Hi RevenueCat team, I wanted to share an issue we’ve encountered with experiments and get your guidance on it. Summary We’re testing A/B experiments with our app and noticed that RevenueCat only seems to treat users as “new” (for experiment enrollment) if their original app user ID is in the $RCAnonymousID:xxxxxx format. In our setup, we intentionally avoid using anonymous IDs because they cause issues with subscription transfers, generate transfer events we can’t handle, and make it harder to link subscriptions to known user accounts. Instead, we always create new users with explicit original IDs (for example: {appName}_prod.2283035). Steps to reproduce 1️⃣ Launch the app and configure RevenueCat directly with a custom user ID (e.g., an internal user ID format) as the initial app user ID, without first creating an anonymous user.2️⃣ Observe that experiment variants are not shown in the current offering as expected. ✅ Note: If you start by using an anonymous user (default behavior) an
I generated promo codes for a one-year annual subscription in my app and used them for promotion. However, RevenueCat tracked the revenue from these promo codes as real purchases, displayed it on the dashboard, and generated an invoice of $110, which is incorrect. Here’s some background:On December 24, I generated some in-app purchases and subscriptions, then configured and uploaded the In-App Purchase Key following the guide. However, after that, I created new subscriptions and in-app purchases for promotion, which RevenueCat mistakenly tracked as real revenue.Today, I generated a new In-App Purchase Key Configuration and uploaded it again. Please help me resolve this issue.
Hey, my app is available only on iOS and android. I’m using unity SDK. Since a few days now, I have a increasing number of users (up to 30% some days and some of them are paying users) that are flagged “other” when looking at the new customer chart in the revenue cat dashboard when segmented by “platform”. When looking at some these users data, they seem to be actually using an iOS or android device. This absence of attributed platform is also seen in the extracts. Not sure why this is happening more and more these days.
Hi everyone,We ran a promotion offering fixed-term subscription plans (4, 3, and 2 months). After the promo period ended, RevenueCat reports 100% churn, but we know some users continued as regular monthly subscribers—meaning they changed offer categories. What’s the best way to accurately track real churn and retention for this type of transition?Currently, we’re manually filtering customer lists by status, latest store, and latest offer, but is there a more direct way to analyze this in the charts?Appreciate any insights! Thanks!
Hello everyone,We've been experiencing a decline in MRR since 1st of April, despite a normal rate of cancellations. On 20th of March, we introduced an upsell option in our paywall, allowing users to upgrade their subscriptions. While we haven’t made any changes on the Stripe side, we’ve noticed that the price value in Product Change events is now appearing as $0. As a result, these upgraded subscriptions are not being counted toward our MRR and ARR.Any insights on why this might be happening would be greatly appreciated.
Hello RevenueCat staff!I’ve gone quickly over the 2025 SOSA report and it looks very good. But I was wondering if you could provide a simple “dollar retention after 1 month for monthly subscriptions” figure by Category.I see page 69 has one 6 months in, but I was wonderng the % of a second monthly payment after a first one. Thanks!
On iPads, the RevenueCat paywall does not always appear correctly when presented but only displayed correctly after the device is rotatedVideo link - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1shYacXNDFWckFQVSv3fDHkMT7buKt4aX/view?usp=sharing And in the paywall v2 editor it looks correctly, but not on iPad
We report the USD equivalent of all revenue events for our integrations computed from that day's conversion rate.
I have an Android app that I created years ago with a non-consumable one-time in-app purchase. In 2024 I converted it to start using RevenueCat. I realized I can see proceeds in the yearly charts for the years I didn’t have RevenueCat, which I assume are users who are still using it and re-established their purchase in the new version of the app.Is there a way to backfill all the missing data, even for those former users who haven’t yet opened the new app, such that the charts will be retroactively correct for revenue or proceeds would be accurate.Perhaps this is documented somewhere but my searches have come up empty.
Hi RevenueCat Community,I'm working on a mobile app written in Flutter and I'm looking to implement a referral program to assign an influencer identifier to app users. The goal is to track purchases made by users assigned to specific influencers, allowing us to share the profit with those influencers each month (ex. 25% of sale). Here's what I've planned so far:Assign an influencer identifier to the RevenueCat/app user using the method below: Purchases.setAttributes({ "custom_group_id" : "influencer_A_id" }); Manually generate a raport in RevenueCat at the end of each month with sum of purchases made by users attached to a given influencer.I would like to attach a given influencer ID to a user by allowing the user to redeem a promo code (that user received from influencer) in the app that unlocks extra content. This will help in assigning the user to the influencer effectively. However, I'm uncertain about the best way to configure RevenueCat to generate a report at the end of each mon
Can we establish additional roles within an account specifically for integration with third-party applications? This role would be designed to restrict access exclusively to report-related features.
Hi Everyone,I was monitoring the RC Dashboard and saw a user make a purchase. Everything appeared normal. Firebase UID was the app_user_id, and the firestore database user record was updated correctly. After about 5 minutes, I saw the app_user_id had changed to "Anna441994!", and a document had been created in the database under that uid.I have opened a support ticket for this, but wanted t see if anyone else had seen this and if this is a hack by some desperado.I’m concerned it may be the latter.I have attached screen grabs of the data i’m seeing.CheersMichaelC

I am unable to view dates when exporting the .CSV from customer lists. 1) .gz is a silly file type to use for compression 2)I have followed the directions in this for PC. I have tried the Excel import wizard. It works but dates are illegible. I have tried pasting from a text editor into both GooglSheets and Excel with the same issue. I am not an Excel nor Google sheets rookie by any means but this issue has stumped me. Extremely frustrated. .csv is an extremely simple format to use and export.
